Antique Swedish Empire Gilded Marble Pedestal or Geridong

About the Item

Gilded empire pedestal or geridong from the mid 1800s, around 1840. The pedestal is from Sweden and is gilded with a white marble top in Carrara marble. The pedestal is in good vintage condition consistent with age with some smaller traces of use. There is some loss of paint on the black plinth.
