Small 17th Century English Oak Side Table
About the Item
A Fine and Small 17th Century English Oak Side or Occasional Table.
The fine three planked overhanging top above a single drawer with panelled detailing, supported by square legs with bobbin turned elements. The legs joined by an H-form stretcher and supported on bobbin feet.
This table has acquired an outstanding patination through years of use, dusting and polishing and is a wonderful colour. The bobbin turning is a very decorative feature and this table is a desirable small size, easy to accommodate in any interior scheme. A very nice example of country furniture with that little something extra which we look for in all of our pieces.
