19th Century Regency Period Mahogany Whatnot or Display Stand

About the Item

A fine quality early 19th century, Regency period mahogany whatnot. The rectangular top with a three-quarter gallery above four similar tiers, all in quality flame mahogany, over a cockbeaded drawer with turned brass knob handles, supported by elegant turned columns capped with rounded ball finials and raised on small brass castors. In excellent original condition. This mahogany display stand retains its original colour and warm patination. England circa 1820. The dimensions are: Height: 120cm (47.2in) Width: 44.5cm (17.5in) Depth: 39cm (15.4in)
