Early 19th Century Cherry Hand-Planed Gate-Legged, Drop Leaf Dining Table

About the Item

Not your ordinary drop-leaf table, this early 19th century cherry gate-leg, drop-leaf table was hand-planed and hand-turned to create a wonderful dining table that doubles as a console or hall table when the leaves are down. The turned legs are unique in that they are an hourglass shape with two stacked razor edged disks on the top of the turn. Similar turned legs have been found in upper New England. This beautifully hand-made table would be a great addition to so many room decors! Dimensions: with leaves closed: 48"w x 19.5"d x 29"h with leaves open: 48"w x 58.25"d x 29"h
