Stunning Swedish 20th Century carved oak Desk or Table.This piece features a rectangular top with a moulded and intricately carved edge. The top rests on a substantial frieze, carved in the round with elegant foliate decoration and rosettes to each corner.Resting on imposing end supports in the form of skilfully carved mythical dragons. United by a peripheral stretcher.With its deep aged colour and striking mirrored carvings, this is a decorative and useful piece for adding drama to a space.This piece would work equally well as a desk, centre or console table.
