About the Item

Pair of fine Art Nouveau / Jugendstyl gilt bronze relief wall plaques, with wonderful details, mounted in walnut frames. The reliefs depict Diana, the Roman goddess of the hunt, unspoiled nature and the moon, as well as a depiction of an allegory of the sea and lakes. Stamped lower left: Kalimar Depose Geschützt and LB Depose Geschützt. With age appropriate ware. Measurements each approx.: H: 49.5 cm W: 28 cm Germany c. 1900.
