Stupendous oil painting on plywood "la Grecque" of 1951 signed Georges Cassan,the author manages to convey in an extraordinary way the plasticity of the female figure ,it looks almost like a sculpture,also valuable is the play of light and shadow in the 'crossing of the arms.
This painting has a truly unique decorative impact.
The vertical creases noticeable at the top are due to the slight swelling of part of the plywood board used by the author as support.
