Manner of William Adolphus Knell (British 1805-1875). Framed maritime oil on canvas. Three-masted square rigger in background, with fishing vessels in foreground. No signature observed. A lovely scene with great attention to detail; fishing nets, boat rigging, sky, sea and birds. This is a relatively small maritime painting but it packs quite a visual punch.

10"h x 12.25"w (sight), 13.5"h x 16"w (frame)
Condition:
Good. In original unaltered condition. Would benefit from professional cleaning. Some imperfections consistent with age. The frame shows signs of age and loss.
