Sue Foell hails from Erie, Pennsylvania where she had the great fortune of living out her childhood close to Lake Erie. Hiking, fishing, swimming, picnicking, sledding, and ice skating along with her parents and 6 siblings in their beautiful surroundings was a big part of her life. That contact with nature, along with being exposed to art at a young age through her father, has had a lasting impact. With an innate attraction to art, over her lifetime she dabbled in a wide variety of artistic activities, including: jewelry making, pottery, photography, and others. After college, and after working as a graphic artist for 14 years and starting a family, oil painting finally took center stage in 2002.
