Pink Floyd UFO Poster

About the Item

A wonderful poster advertising three concerts in February and March 1967 at London’s seminal hippy hangout, UFO Club. The club was on Tottenham Court Road in London and this poster promotes concerts featuring Pink Floyd, Soft Machine, and the Brothers Grimm. This poster was designed by Michael English and captivates the spirit and change occurring in swinging London in the late 1960s. Impressive in size, it has been silkscreened using fluorescent red, green, and pink inks and is printed on plain white uncoated stock. Featuring Michael English’s signature in the bottom right-hand corner in green ink. The poster has light handling, watermarks and the edges are slightly frayed but this does not affect the quality and originality of the poster. Professionally framed and matted in ultraviolet protective glass with an acid-free mount. England, 1967.
