A Chinese vintage camphor wood low-relief wall plaque from Zhejiang depicting a celestial guardian on a mythical animal. Created in Eastern China during the midcentury period, this wall plaque is carved in low relief with a celestial guardian holding an axe in each hand, riding a mythical animal. Very lively and showing great finesse in the details, this Zhejiang camphor wood wall plaque will make for an interesting decorative addition to any home where it will be a great conversation starter.
