French Napoleon III Turquoise Black Enamel Fine Pearls 18K Rose Gold Bracelet
About the Item
Bracelet in 18 karat rose gold, eagle and rhinoceros heads hallmarks.
Antique gold ring of oval shape it is formed of 4 plates of bulging gold, chiselled on the edges and articulated between them. An openwork rosette pattern decorated with Greek black enamel, half pearls, a turquoise cabochon, and small rose-cut diamonds is fixed on the top. The opening system is ratchet with safety chain.
Height of the pattern : 3.9 cm approximately, thickness : 16 mm approximately, width of the bracelet : 22.2 mm approximately, inner circumference : 16 cm approximately.
Total weight of the jewel : 37,5 g approximately.
Authentic antique jewel - French work of the second half of the XIXth century.
Our opinion : this antique bracelet is the witness of its time, it was probably part of an ornament with the same pattern which was unfortunately separated during successions.
