For your consideration is this very stylish Modernist Brooch by Jakob Bengel. Dating to the 1930's this is a very innovative and individual piece of jewellery, aesthetically characterised by the lightness in the design. Chrome torpedo shaped body with a central ribbed accent of green glass. This is a great size and works well for day and evening wear. All of our Jewellery and watches are sent out first class in a complimentary gift/presentation box. Still with it's original hand written label this is old/new stock not worn or marketed before. About Jakob Bengel Jakob Bengel was a chain and costume jewellery factory, founded by Jakob Bengel in 1873 in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. Until 1920, the company specialised in the production of watch chains and chatelaines. In the 1920's and 1930's, it became one of the leading manufacturers of fashion jewellery in the Art Deco style
