The French jeweler and designer, famous parurier Roger Jean Pierre has been designing for Schiaparelli jewelry since he was 20 years old. He has also worked for Balenciaga, Dior, Balmain and Madame Gres, among others. He created some of the most extraordinary jewelry for Balenciaga and forged a very close relationship with Christian Dior, creating many important pieces for the House. In 1930-1960, his name was known throughout France.
From 1947 to 1958, he ran the large jewelery company Maison Francis Winter. Winter designs around 2,500 jewels a year for the biggest French fashion houses.
In 1960, Roger Jean Pierre opened his own studio in Paris. He was inspired by the decorations of the 18th century. Costume jewelry by this master was never marked, usually only paper tags were worn on the jewelry.
After 13 years, Jean Pierre decides to broaden his field of activity and opens a workshop. And in 1962, Jean-Pierre made a tiara for Yves Saint Laurent, which was featured on the October cover of Vogue. But already in 1979, for unknown reasons, he was forced to close his business.

Le joaillier et designer français, célèbre parurier Roger Jean Pierre dessine pour les bijoux de Schiaparelli depuis l'âge de 20 ans. Il a travaillé également pour Balenciaga, Dior, Balmain et Madame Gres, entre autres. Il a créé certains des bijoux les plus extraordinaires pour Balenciaga et a noué une relation très étroite avec Christian Dior, créant de nombreuses pièces importantes pour la Maison. En 1930-1960, son nom était connu dans toute la France.
De 1947 à 1958, il dirige la grande entreprise de joaillerie Maison Francis Winter. Winter conçoit environ 2 500 bijoux par an pour les plus grandes maisons de couture françaises.
En 1960, Roger Jean Pierre ouvre son propre atelier à Paris. Il s'est inspiré des décors du XVIIIe siècle. Les bijoux fantaisie de ce maître n'étaient jamais marqués, généralement seules des étiquettes en papier étaient portées sur les bijoux.
Au bout de 13 ans, Jean Pierre décide d'élargir son champ d'activité et ouvre un atelier. Et en 1962, Jean-Pierre a fait un diadème pour Yves Saint Laurent, qui a été présenté sur la couverture d'octobre de Vogue. Mais déjà en 1979, pour des raisons inconnues, il a été contraint de fermer son entreprise.
