Victorian Silver & Gold Overlay Brooch with Rose Motif
About the Item
A beautiful Victorian silver brooch made circa 1880. It's typical of the late Victorian style with engraved stylized floral and geometric motifs around the edge with bobbles then a stunning circular band of gold around the brooch. In the centre is a beautiful rose and leaves with applied rose and yellow gold. On the back of the brooch, there is a deep open hair compartment with a glass cover, c-catch, and tube hinge.
