Antique Dutch 3-Row Red Coral Necklace Choker with Filigree 14 Karat Gold Clasp
About the Item
An antique 3-row natural red coral (Corallium Rubrum*) choker necklace with round filigree 14 karat yellow clasp, from ca. 1945, the Netherlands. The beads have a round and regular shape. The size of the beads is CA. 5 mm in diameter. The clasp features a red coral cabochon in the centre and smaller beads on the periphery, as well as a a 14k gold safety chain. The clasp is stamped with an oak leaf with 585 that stands for the 19/20thC Dutch mark for 585/14 karat gold content. The gold content was also acid tested. The necklace is in very good antique condition.
The choker could be a great present idea for anybody who feels comfortable with choker necklaces and appreciates the beauty of the natural coral in a classic combination with shiny yellow gold.
