Black Jade Pendant 18K New Double Happiness, Certified Untreated

About the Item

This black jade pendant features a disk of natural, untreated jade pierced with the characters for "double happiness," set within an 18k gold frame, and complimented with a hand-carved vivid apple green jadeite jade bead. The jadeite is 25mm; the framed pendant is 25.6mm. The double happiness symbol is perhaps the most iconic and familiar to those outside of China. The pair of characters has been carved into architectural details, utensils, jewelry, and embroidered onto clothing items for thousands of years. The double happiness symbol is a reminder to enjoy what one has at the moment and to make the very most out of one's life. The jadeite disk has been certified by Mason Kay to be natural and untreated type A jadeite, which is free from dye and polymer, and of course the pendant ships with this certificate. Black jadeite is associated with vision and success. Some believe the stone helps one to overcome challenges, and achieve goals. Note: chain not included.
