Antique "Isabelino Style" Diamond and Natural Pearl Flower Pendant/Brooch (Spain, Queen Isabel 2nd 1830-1868)
Work of classic sparkles all around a circle two flower design . Pearl and diamond pendant/brooch. Set with two natural round shape pearls 5mm in diameter in closed back fittings, further set with round old cut diamonds ain open back grain and rub over further adorned with round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.90 carats, to an openwork pendant/brooch featuring foliate and floral motifs, polished edges and open back holing, fitted to reverse with a secure hinge pin and clip. Tested yellow gold and silver
Hand fabricated in darkened silver over 18K yellow gold. Wearable as both a pendant and brooch, it measures 1 3/16 inches across. 2.90 carat total diamond weight. White gold 18 Karat chain (hallmarked) measures 41.5cm - 16 1/3-inch chain..

Parures of emeralds, necklaces, stomachers, rings, earrings etc. were plentiful at the court of Spain. Some different periods can be distinguished: 1- "Fernandino" (1808-1833); 2- "Isabelino" (1833-1868) and 3rd "Alfonsino" (1876- 1931).

Consisting of a pendant centrally set and designed as an alternating series of oval-cut ruby and old-cut diamond clusters, within seed pearl borders, suspending a pear-shaped panel drop set with an old-cut diamond, to the oval-cut ruby frame and further pearl fringes,
Mounted in 22 K Gold. Sixteen rose cut (original hand cut, natural diamonds: 8.98 carats (original hand cut, as per the period) ; eighteen Burmese untreated/unheated rubies: oval faceted mixed cut weighing 23.55 carats.
Measuring approximately 34 cm long and pendant 4 cm

Brooch / pendant in 18 karat yellow gold, eagle's head hallmark.
Octagonal shaped with an openwork circle pattern and studded with natural pearls, this pendant holds a cameo on 4-layered agate representing the left profile of a bust woman. The back opens like a medallion to incorporate a photo or lock of hair.
For the brooch, the hanging system is a pin with safety hook. The latter bends and the pin unscrews to allow the jewel to be worn as a pendant. The removable bail is in the shape of an openwork lily flower.
Height : approximately 5.7 cm, Width : approximatley 3 cm, Cameo Size: 2.1 cm x 2.7 cm.
