Victorian Silver Gilt Filigree Pomander Locket
About the Item
Victorian Silver Gilt Filigree Pomander Locket circa 1880's. One side has an inverted posy, and the other has a Maltese cross. The openwork filigree locket can hold a perfumed cotton for scents. Likely Spanish, late 19th Century. Gilded silver. Gilt chain is matched to locket, but is not original.
Chain 16", Locket with bail, 2" x 1.25".
Excellent condition.
