Elegant Art Deco Amythest Ring
About the Item
Elegant and unusual Art Deco Amythest Ring with natural color zoned stone. We love this elegant ring for many reasons, especially the East-West mount.
The large oval amythest is beautifully faceted and has bands of soft purple to clear with some interior crystalization. The sterling setting is high and open so the stone becomes the main focus and light enters easily from below.
The shoulders of the shank have cutwork leaf motifs which end as fine prongs for holding the stone. A lovely period piece with an elegant modernity.
Excellent condition. 1920's USA.
