19th Century Vintage Historic Mixed Metals Bishop Ring
About the Item
A vintage historic Bishop Ring made of blended metals. Rings of this kind, that have survived over time, are rare finds. All four sides of the ring are decorated with relief designs of a contrasting metal. The weight of the ring is 177.8 grams. The ring height is 2.50 inches with a 2-inch thickness. As can be seen, the way the ring rises off the finger, the scale is substantial. The ring size is large . . . a US size 15 1/4 suggesting that if worn, it was intended for a gloved hand. This historical antique would make a special gift or a nice addition to any collection.
