18k Yellow Antique Matte Gold Architectural Asymmetrical Wave Sand Ring
About the Item
Inspired by sand dunes and calligraphy, the Sand Ring celebrates our nature, the invisible architecture. Following these stunning wind or water-driven structures of sand, Edward re-discovered the beauty of the Chinese language, an ancient pictographic writing system. Its character sand (沙) was created based on the form of the actual sand - an art in its own right.
The unforgiving and alien-like texture of a sand dune inspired us to apply a matte finish to the ring. Every angle of the ring pays tribute to the Chinese language a stroke-constructed and pictographic language.
The ring is handcrafted using 100% recycled 18k yellow gold in our London workshop. This ring is tested and hallmarked by the London Assay office. If you wish to customise this ring by changing the finishing of the metal or by adding gemstones, please contact us.

Its award-winning founder and designer, Edward Xú, started his namesake brand following the dream of creating philosophical jewellery designs and inspiring others to a sustainable jewellery life cycle.
