This champagne bottle cover is a distinguished new piece from our Works of Art Collection, showcasing the vision of the artist of the 4 elements of the Cosmos : earth, water, fire, air. In the Hellenic tradition, the four elements are the realms of the cosmos, which all things are made up of. Crafted from pure 999/°° silver, the spirituality and deep essence of this K-OVER beautifully captures the viewer. The four elements are exquisitely depicted in shining silver, while the rest of the cover boasts a diamond finish.
The cover was handcrafted by Lorenzo Foglia, a master goldsmith based in Florence. The creation of this piece spanned several months, involving meticulous techniques such as overhang and chasing. The artist started with a single cylindrical piece of silver, working from the inside to intricately chisel each detail of the symbolic faces. This inside-out approach significantly enhanced the complexity of the task, emphasizing the artisan’s dedication to achieving artistic perfection. The remarkable precision in chiselling the four elements underscores the exceptional craftsmanship and great attention to detail that defines this exquisite cover.

Artist information
Lorenzo Foglia, was born in Viareggio in 1971. He grew up in his family workshop, and still very young, started working there together with his father and grandfather. There, he studied the art of metalworking and learned embossing and chisel techniques. During his career he created furniture and jewellery for the Royal Houses of Europe, the theatre and cinema. He won twice the international competition “Art in a jewel”, promoted by Florence Gift Mart. He is President of the Silversmiths of the city of Florence and he is “Master Craftsman” recognized by Tuscany Region, “OMA Craftsman”, and “Master of Art and Craft” for the Cologni Foundation of Milan.
Recently, he has been working with K-OVER for the project works of art. He signed all the champagne cover he chiselled.
