Account Manager, Enterprise

In just over a year, 1stdibs grown into a destination for the world’s most beautiful contemporary design by makers and small manufacturers all over the world, but we’re always thinking about the next initiative and strategy to drive our business further and help our customers find the world’s most beautiful design.   

In the Account Manager, Enterprise role, you’ll own our relationships with our largest partners and manage their success on 1stdibs. This includes working closely with our product and marketing teams to analyze trends, build the partnership playbook, identify ways to drive more business through partners, and liaison with other 1stdibs teams to find ways to better support our contemporary category initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Own onboarding and expansion of our largest partnerships; Project manage complex launches, including coordinating the internal cross-functional stakeholders and partner teams
  • Serve as external-facing 1stdibs leader to partners and internal advocate for partner needs
  • Continually iterate on the onboarding playbook to guide partners’ first 90 days, including:
    • Curriculum and timeline for partner education
    • Success metrics for partner health and growth
    • Milestones for inventory depth, item descriptions, etc
    • Escalation criteria and path based on early tenure GMV trajectory
  • Promote the success of our most strategic partners through conducting periodic business reviews and being the ongoing 1stdibs point of contact (to both the partner’s executive and working teams)
  • Support the evolution of the long-term partnership vision by creating and playbooking new ways to add value to existing partnerships and developing best practices; Work closely with business operations to identify trends, provide insights to other 1stdibs teams, and track productivity of your partners
  • Support and inform the Product team in analyzing product needs and patterns across partnerships
  • Be a cross-functional thought partner in developing operational processes to best service strategic partners

What you'll bring

  • 4+ years of professional experience, with 1-2 years of strategic partner management experience a plus
  • Has managed large, complex partnerships, relationships and/or product launches
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including empathic listening and an ability to synthesize information quickly
  • Project management experience, with the ability to lead and handle multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects on deadline
  • Strong professional presence and ability to connect with external leadership teams and decision makers at all levels of an organization
  • Team player with strong intrapersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment and work autonomously with minimal direction
  • Creative, analytical and strategic thinker

Not a requirement, but a huge plus

  • Consistently described as independent, flexible, and fast learning
  • Experience working in a startup a plus
  • Desire to innovate in design & e-commerce
  • A self-starter mindset with a bias towards action
  • Bachelor's degree in English, business, or marketing preferred
