Marketing Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Operations Manager. This person will be responsible for the tools, processes, and relationships involved in marketing campaign execution for email and other channels including direct mail, onsite chat, and push notifications. S/he will have an established track record of driving operational efficiency both internally across teams and with external vendor partners. S/he will have experience working with ESPs and managing a variety of technical elements required for campaigns (e.g. back-end data processes). The role will also lead research and vetting for new marketing technologies.

An ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a drive for process and passion for problem-solving. S/he can thrive in a cross-functional team environment and loves the fast-pace of a startup.

What you'll do

  • Own email operations and technical implementations for campaigns across supply and demand teams
  • Establish operational efficiencies email, direct mail, onsite chat and other marketing channels
  • Drive process across email and marketing campaign stakeholders
  • Research and recommend vendors to improve the marketing technology stack
  • Manage deliverables to appropriate deadlines
  • Manage 1-2 direct reports
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and other teams as needed

 What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of managing marketing operations
  • 1-2 years working with ESPs (ExactTarget preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, troubleshoot solve operational and technical issues
  • Excellent project management and multi-tasking abilities
  • Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Extremely detail oriented & well organized 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Team player with ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

  • Passion for marketing, data and learning new technology 
  • Prior experience managing direct reports
