Logistics Coordinator - UK

1stdibs has a strong international presence. For several years, we have had a team operating out of Wyboston Lakes, United Kingdom including professionals on our leadership, account management and sales teams. Now, as our marketplace continues to expand, we are also expanding our global Logistics team into our UK office.

The Logistics Coordinator ensures effective and timely delivery for orders made through 1stdibs.com. Reporting to the Director, Logistics Operations and Strategy in our NYC headquarters, you will act as the primary contact and owner for internal coordination on each shipment. You will need to effectively operate within a complex logistics network aiming to deliver an outstanding global client experience while in compliance with all applicable regulations.

What you’ll do

  • Follow up on Pending and In-Transit Shipments
    • Obtain accurate tracking updates, then surface them to customers, dealers, and internal support
    • Proactively monitor shipment statuses and follow up on issues requiring intervention
  • Maintain Proactive Follow Up to all involved parties:
    • Using internal tools to keep updates on all shipments from confirmation to delivery
    • Communicating on any delays and changes in deliveries
    • Maintaining Order Management details from start to finish
  • Manage Internal Process Tied to Logistics:
    • Maintaining tracking, data logging, and project plan documents to ensure effective work between team members and departments

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-2 years experience in logistics, operations or supply-chain
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • E-commerce experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
