Sr Marketing Manager, 1stdibs Gallery and Vintage & Antique

In this newly created role as Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing, 1stdibs Gallery and Vintage & Antique you will be responsible for leading cross-channel marketing efforts to drive awareness, traffic, customer acquisition and engagement for 1stdibs’s exciting new gallery space in south Hudson Yards, New York. You will also lead marketing for 1stdibs’s leading category, Vintage & Antique Furniture, driving strategic and tactical marketing campaigns to grow revenue from this category, both, online and through the 1stdibs Gallery.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a design-focused, fast-paced and results-driven environment and who is looking to leverage their experience in digital marketing to spearhead the success of a successful category, and an exciting new retail space. You’d be a true 1stdibs brand advocate, working closely with partners on Supply, Marketing, Product, Gallery Ops and Trade teams.

What you’ll do

Marketing Strategy & Execution - Vintage & Antique

  • Drive growth in new and repeat customers by developing and executing marketing strategies in partnership with marketing, seller and product teams across the organization
    • Paid media strategy across Google, Facebook, Pinterest, Display etc.
    • Email touchpoints, website and mobile app experiences
    • Print (catalog, direct mail), Social campaigns, Editorial, PR, Events and more
    • 1stdibs Gallery
    • Trade (Interior Designers) marketing
  • Work with channel owners and Business Analytics to test and measure campaign strategies to optimize performance and marketing channels
  • Shape customer-centric, cross-channel marketing and engagement strategy to build awareness, growth and excitement the category

Gallery Marketing  

  • Work cross-functionally with colleagues in Marketing (Paid, Email, Social, Events, Content), Supply, Trade and Gallery Ops teams to create beautiful omni-channel experiences, ensure smooth campaign execution, and achieve all business goals
  • Create and own Gallery marketing calendar including 360 and targeted launches to keep the space fresh and relevant
  • Launch targeted online and offline campaigns to drive awareness, traffic, sales and glean market intelligence
  • Manage the gallery landing page, print collateral, and google business account

Partnerships & Events

  • Work with key cross functional partners to initiate and develop strategic marketing partnerships and local market activations to meet goals
  • Develop supporting online, offline and social marketing strategy to amplify programming
  • Coordinate event requests with Gallery exhibitors and manage communication with dealers

Project Management

  • Drive end-to-end campaign development & execution​
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners across Email, Paid, Social, Site, Editorial and Events to ensure smooth execution of campaigns
  • Create timelines, briefs and manage asset delivery of digital/physical collateral
  • Partner with external vendors (when applicable), manage/oversee scope of work

Measurement & Effectiveness

  • Evaluation of campaign ROI and actionable inputs post evaluation
  • Measure and track effectiveness of the gallery as an immersive brand experience
  • Campaign reach, engagement and conversion
  • Manage and adhere to Marketing, Gallery and Programming budget

 

What you’ll bring

  • 8+ years of relevant marketing experience
  • Experience working a nimble team environment with fast-growing expectations
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented enough to lead multiple cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree required.  MBA preferred.
  • Digital native
  • Self-starter, with great sense of humor and comfort with change
  • Experience working in luxury goods/design a plus
