About the Item
This the second work in this series based on natural forms and rhythms, created with fine detail using pen and ink. With a complex organic pattern inspired by the patterns and shapes found in the growth of sea coral and its inner structure looked at in close detail which is composed of complex shapes and patterns. Working purely from the memory of previous sketches done in the past of this structure the result is realistic and semi-abstract at the same time,with depth and a three dimensional effect. This work is done on large 60x43 cm (23.6 x 17 inches),acid free 170gsm art paper,using high quality lasting black inks with archival quality with maximum light-fastness acid free and waterproof. It has a 1.5 white border around it, signed on the lower right.
