Pathos is an original drawing on ivory paper realized by Flor David in the 1950s
This is an original pencil drawing on block notes and it represents a man with his head towards the back with an expression of desperation on his face.
On the lower right is handwritten in pencil most likely the name of the man portrayed.
Good conditions except for a light yellowing of paper and some folds along lower margins.
Flor David (Paris 1891-1958) pseudonym of David Florence. Pastel painter. she was a pupil of Desirè Lucas. She exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Francais since 1923 and had honorable mention at Prix Leonie Dussueil in 1934.
