Historic compromise is an original watercolor drawing in pen realized in the 1960s by Mino Maccari. Hand-signed on the lower right.
The State of preservation is very good.
Included a Passepartout: 49 x 35 cm.
The artwork represents a painter while painting, with an interesting title, and drawing of the political symbols. indicating to a deeper layer of concept.
Mino Maccari (Siena, 1898 - Roma, 1989) was a popular Italian artist and engraver. He realized a lot of graphic artworks, especially lithographs and etchings with satirical and political intents. He was famous also for erotic and sexual drawings. Maccari also worked for many years at Il Mondo and taught engraving at Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.
