Born of the Covid pandemic, the team started working remotely, mailing artwork to each other, blending visions, and developing work that was independent from both of their established prior identities. The art created in partnership spans from emotionally dark themes to wildly playful irreverence.
Both artists continue prolific practices, with inclusions in public and private collections, and long exhibition histories across the United States and abroad.
This work combines explosive abstraction with sacred images, such as Mary, the crucifixion, and birds.
