About the Item
Artist Comments
Artist Siyuan Ma shares a glimpse of the Huayan Temple in Datong, Shanxi Province. It holds significant scientific value for ancient Chinese architectural art and is regarded as a unique treasure in China by the renowned architect Liang Sicheng. The grand and magnificent buildings of Huayan Temple, with their rugged style, make them one of China's most important temples of the Liao and Jin dynasties. Siyuan beautifully captures this cultural treasure with his signature impressionist approach.
