Ink wash drawing of tranquil scene of fishing boats along with a lighthouse in the background by french artist Jean-Baptiste Grancher, circa 1950.
Jean-Baptiste Grancher was from the middle of France, a native of Aubusson in Creuse. He also painted in Italy and Spain under the names of both JB Grancher and JB Granger (altered for contractual purposes). He exhibited in Paris at Salon Des Independents and Salon D’Autome as well as in the USA.
Original artwork on paper displayed on a white mat with a gold border. Mat fits a standard-size frame. Archival plastic sleeve and Certificate of Authenticity included. Artwork, 18.25”H x 22.5"W; mat, 24"H x 30”W.
