Fernand de Launay (1838-1904) Portrait of a child, probably the daughter of the artist Lead pencil on paper Signed and dated "4 septembre 1890" on the lower left 27 x 21 cm In quite good condition : trace of insolation of the paper on the left as visible on the photographs It's probably a portrait of the artist's daughter, who was born in 1885. Fernand de Launay was born in Lyon in 1838. He exhibited regularly at the Paris Salon, and - from 1878 onwards- at the Salon des Artistes Français.
