About the Item
Sarah Alexander's "Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jig" is an illustrative 22 x 30 inch contemporary ink and watercolor of vibrant purple and blue passionflowers with lush green foliage, swirling vines and decorative rings. The crisp lines of ink contrasting against the soft watery watercolor background give the piece a dreamlike feeling. This drawing is reminiscent of British illustrations from the artist's childhood. Flowing, fluid layers intertwine and evoke joyous moments with hidden stories to tell. It is signed on the lower right hand corner.
