Little Windows. Mixed media textured and acrylic paint on Wood. Separate LED box light. 24H x 24Wx 3D
This series of artwork evokes a novel effect. Light becomes intertwined in the work of art. The wood-based paintings are painted with acrylic, creating a unique piece. The art has a separate LED lighting unit that is easily installed on the wall. It can be turned on with an on/off switch powered with batteries or a plug-in. The light can remain on, or you can choose to keep it off, and turn it on for special occasions. It is very easy to install.
Curves, illusory perspectives, geometry, and urban symbols are among some of the tools I use in making my work.
I use light and variations between two and three dimensions to make abstract reliefs. Innovation with materials is a key component.
