She seeks to create energetic and meaningful paintings that evoke feelings of liveness, energy, and motion. Her inspiration comes from nature, life, humans, and our connectedness. Flow of Life is a painting that celebrates the light, fluid and transformational movement that comes with letting go and surrendering to what is. In accepting the circumstances and moving beyond control, fear and limiting beliefs.
Influenced by Japanese ink painting, Emily Kame Kngwarreye and many others, Elin Kereby seeks to create pieces that are light, yet contain depth, and give an impression of movement. Before she became a professional painter, she worked in the finance industry for 13 years. The contrast as well as the connection between the mind, body and the soul are common themes that she explores through her work.
