Using gestural metallic lines, “Launch” organizes chaos using dynamic movement that travels from the bottom left corner to the top right.    M. Clark uses an innovative technique to sculpt and manipulate gold foil. This method gives her pieces the distinct luminosity that she is known for. - A continuously shifting luminosity that is dependent on the viewer’s vantage point provides an infinitely evolving viewing experience. - This piece is exceptionally textural and reflective . Being metallic in nature, the appearance will vary as the light shifts. You'll notice different elements of “Launch” in the morning light vs evening light. The work was created with this intention so that lighting scenarios would highlight different compositional elements.  The matte and shiny gold foil adds depth and texture to the piece.  Every detail was considered in the making of “Launch”, including the edges which are finished with gold foil. Signed and dated on the back.  Ready to hang. No additional framing needed.  A wire is attached to the back for easy installation. Bumpers attached to the back in order to float the piece slightly off the wall and add emphasis to the gilded edge . Shipped with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
