About the Item
Beginning with my great grandmother Cesarea, one of the founders of the town named Placetas in Cuba during the 1860s, women and the roles they have played throughout history fascinate me; thus this is the theme of my work as an artist. I use tremendous amounts of texture and color to execute my paintings.
