Artist Patrick Soper juxtaposes a realistic nude draped in golden cloth with energetic paintwork. The warm tones of the figure, together with the fiery yellows and oranges of the background, create a dramatic contrast to the cool foreground. Patrick delicately rendered the woman's face and figure, capturing her soft skin and gentle gaze against her expressionist surroundings.
About the Artist
Patrick Soper paints works that explore line, texture and the female body. In his paintings, he explores the texture of paint and different color combinations. Many of his pieces mix flesh tones with other colors to add interest. When he's not making art, he enjoys traveling, fishing, reading, and going to outdoor music festivals.
