This Postcard Signed by Andreina Pagnani is (C.P.S. s.l.n.d.) a greeting postcard from the National Museum of Carriage in Lisbon, to the Countess Anna Laetitia Pecci Blunt.
Around 1960s-1970s. In Italian. Perfect conditions.
Andreina Pagnani (Rome, 1906 -1981)is a fascinating actress with an elegant acting intensity. She is famous for interpreting roles in the plays of authors like Shakespeare, Pirandello, Cocteau, O'Neill, and Shaw. The public remembers her especially for the role of the tender and caring Mrs. Maigret, at her old partner Gino Cervi's side in the tv show The Investigations of Commissioner Maigret (1964-1972), and for having been the partner of Alberto Sordi for nine years.
She has also dedicated herself, since the beginning of her carrer, to cinematographic activity in Italy in the second half of the 1960s. Thanks to her intense voice and blended accents, she was, together with Lydia Simoneschi, Tina Lattanzi, Rosetta Calavetta, Dhia Cristiani, and Giovanna Scotto, one of the most sought-after dubbers of her generation, lending her voice to big divas like Bette Davis, Marlene Dietrich, Katharine Hepburn, Gloria Swanson, Barbara Stanwyck, and Greta Garbo.

Countess Anna Laetitia Pecci (Rome, 1885 - Marlia, 1971)
Best-known as "Mimì" Pecci-Blunt , the Italian noblewoman was an art collector, patron and nephew of Pope Leo XIII. Extremely volcanic, she was very active in the cultural field, opening numerous lounges, galleries and theaters. In 1919 she married Cecil Blumenthal, later changed to Blunt, a wealthy Jewish banker from New York, heir to an important collection of nineteenth-century French painting. His Parisian and Roman salons was frequented by artists and intellectuals of the caliber of Salvador Dalì, Paul Valery, Poulenc, Paul Claudel, and Aldo Palazzeschi!
