About the Item

Singularity. Natalia Pustovit. Fhenomenal artwork concept Singularity is the point at which a mathematical function tends to infinity. A woman is that point, which is the conductor of the infinity of life ... the point through which life strives to infinity. About the symbols in the picture. The first is a black square near the girl's chest and a black rectangle covering her stomach and hips. These are symbols of those prohibitions that exist in society, which have always been and will be. The square is only pushed aside, because freedom does not mean permissiveness. Above the girl's head, on a dark metal structure, orange-red lights are intensely burning - this is a symbol of the lights, bonfires of the Middle Ages. Top left - a stylized image of the "golden rain of Danae", from an ancient Greek legend. The god Zeus entered Danae in the form of golden rain. A butterfly speaks of how fleeting beauty and youth are, of tenderness and defenselessness. Brightly burning lamps on a metal structure, tending to cover the figure of a girl and lamps located on her stomach, symbolize the all-consuming power of technological progress. In the process of which, so many responsibilities are assigned to a woman that she loses the most important thing.
