First performed at the Cigale Theater, in Paris, on June 2, 1924.
Splendid and rare edition with hand-colored woodcuts by Jean Hugo, grandson of Victor Hugo. Based on William Shakespeare's play and adapted by Jean Cocteau. The plates reproducing full-page costumes are covered by velin paper.
In-4º, in French, pp. 100, cm 33.6 x 2 x 25.5, 1926. Printed on velin Montgolfier D'Annonay paper.
In an illustrated slipcase. Truly in very fine conditions.
