About

Adam Daily's geometric abstractions seem to, simultaneously, jut out from the pictorial plane and recede into it, accomplished by eliminating the perspective point and the horizon line, in contradistinction to the tradition of Western art since the Renaissance. His work has a graphic design feel, similar to early Pop works, and an affinity with the hard-edged geometric abstraction of the California School painters. It is painted on white PVC which gives it extra luminosity. We will show Daily's work at the upcoming Scope Miami Beach, December 4-10.
