Chic trendy DUMBO, the down-under-the-Manhattan-Bridge section of the Borough of Brooklyn in New York City, leads the way in the transformation of sections of Brooklyn into some of the most desireable neighborhoods in NYC. Located along the waterfront and Brooklyn Bridge Park resplendent with Jane's Carousel, it is the ideal subject matter for an equally chic and trendy pop art style landscape painting. Seemingly bent out of shape and reconfigured, DUMBO is no more than a bridge away with all of it's upscale boutiques, restaurants and cafes. The rainbow sky simply reiterates the dream come true that this neighborhood represents to so many! Raised in New York, artist Jim Twerell attended the highly acclaimed School of Visual Arts in Manhattan.
