About the Item

Grass Marks is an original artwork realized by Claudio Palmieri in 2010. wax pigments and grass blades applied on cardboard. Sign, title, date, and technique on the back. Very good conditions. Original title: Segni d'erba The painting represents a very fine composition where the artist has inserted into the work a real natural element, the blades of grass, making his constant reference to nature ever more alive. Claudio Palmieri, born in Rome in 1955, was a protagonist of the New Roman School, or Via del Paradiso, and boasts more than twenty years of national and international artistic activity. This versatile artist deals with painting and sculpture with equal expressive ability, rejecting conventional disciplinary barriers and, at the same time, enhancing the linguistic peculiarities (painting, photography, sculpture, sound research). His works are permanently exhibited in national museums and in several Italian cities.
