Eric Mack
MTB-4276 - Vibrant Contemporary Abstract Collage Painting w/ Glitter on Canvas

2008

About the Item

MTB-4276 is one of Mack's strongest paintings. This piece part of his ongoing body of work utilizing multi-media, complex compositions, and a grid centered around urban design. Using a grid to create the framework of the painting, Mack has utilized Zerox copies adhered by a matte medium to create graphic imagery such as life expectancy charts, lists of other countries, constellations, emojis, crowns, the sun, and more. The paper adhered to the canvas follows the same interstellar type quality that is created from the washy acrylic background. This painting seems to connect ourselves with the world and on a larger scale, to the universe.
