A 2010 documentary on Harald focused on his impressive exhibition in the Chelsea art district of New York City.
In this heavily textured abstract painting, Harald M. Olson uses oil, acrylic, plaster, wood and latex paint to create movement and texture. There is a natural balance and harmony and a sophisticated color palette within this abstract work of Harald Marinius Olson. He is not afraid of the canvas, his gestural strokes and daring lines, shapes and textures are there, just as they have to be, to complete the vision he has unfolding in his mind while working on the painting. The added cracks within the painting are intentionally placed there by the artist to add to the feel the artist was trying to bring to this work of art. His feel for the texture and movement within the work come so naturally from his mind to his hand that you know you are viewing the work of a modern master.
