JEFFREY SIMMONS is a Seattle-based artist who works primarily in watercolor and acrylic paint. His work explores the limitations of mechanical processes and the construction of pattern, and he is influenced by astronomical imagery. Simmons currently teaches at Seattle University, and his work is featured in the collections of the Tacoma Art Museum, Boise Art Museum, and the Seattle Art Museum.
