Both are highly textured mineral paintings, made with Japanese blue-gold leaves, natural and synthetic minerals and partially resin on Japanese paper mounted on a wood panel. Natural colors include gemstones or precious and semi-precious stones, such as green agate (deep matcha green). Because these substances consist of unique chemical and physical properties, every artwork has unique characteristics and a story to tell, with a sense of connection to the earth.
